Of all the books given to our daughter, this one is my husband's favorite. As a life-long comics lover, he enjoys the layout of this book- an introduction to comics style for little ones.
The story and illustration are also great and he never tires of our two yr old bringing it to him and asking him to "READ IT AGAIN DADDY!"
I love it, too. It is clever and adorable!
We are hope there will be more books about Otis and Rae and their adventures!

We checked this out from the library. I actually chose it for the illustrating style, and the 'comic strip' style of telling the story. My 5 year old loves comics.
My 3 year old looked at it in the car the whole way home, and proceded to ask me to read it numerous times. My 5 year old (who can read) has read it over and over. They both crack up at the last page of the book.
My 5 year old asked if Rae & Otis are from a show. I don't know, but if their reaction is any indication..maybe it should be!
It's obviously addicting, and a very cute read.

My daughter absolutely loves this book! It has made her want to go camping. The illustrations and the story are so unique that I really enjoy reading this one too!
